It is with mixed emotions that we announce our 2019 Honorary Lifetime Member, Keith Meyer. Several Indiana Holstein Association members gathered at the end of December as a surpise to present Keith with this distinction. Years ago, he was the man who was known for getting all the cattle ready and managed the crews for many national sales and all of the state, district, and county sales in Indiana, as well as the surrounding states. He mentored numerous young men who became known for their clipping and fitting. It is with sadness that we share that he passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to present him with this award and share some time with him and his family. He was honored and filled with joy to receive this award.
